A friend is incubating Saxony duck eggs. I’ve got my sights set on a couple. Saxony ducks look like these in the photo below. The female is a lovely colour and the drake has a handsome grey neck.

I’m hopeful the chicken tractor will be completed by the end of April or first week of May. Though, I love the Chicken stagecoach design, (see below), I’ve decided to come up with my own small flock chicken tractor design. Stay tuned!

Here on the West Coast, raccoons, mink, otter, and yes, ravens, are all predators. The coop must be secure.
